What you can expect

  • Visiting Las Pailas (or Las Paylas) in Luquillo, Puerto Rico, is one of the most authentic and fun experiences for connecting with nature. It is a series of natural slides formed by the Pitaya River, where the water has polished the rocks, creating spectacular chutes.
    Natural Slides: You'll find two main ones; a shorter, gentler one to warm up, and a longer, faster one that ends in a pool of turquoise water.
    Take a dip and swim in the best part of the river.
