Begin your journey in the historic city of Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its blend of traditional Lao and French colonial architecture. Start with a visit to the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre (TAEC) to learn about the diverse ethnic groups of Northern Laos, including the Hmong, Khmu, and Tai Lue peoples.

Next, head into the rural hinterlands. Stop at local villages, such as those inhabited by the Hmong and Khmu communities, to observe traditional weaving, basketry, and agricultural practices.

Upon arrival at the Kuang Si site, enjoy a multifaceted experience. Swim in the lower tiers and admire the primary waterfall, a dramatic 60-meter drop that serves as the centerpiece of the park.

Visit the Tat Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre, located at the entrance, to learn about the region's commitment to protecting indigenous wildlife, specifically the Asiatic black bear.
