What you can expect

  • Discover Hakodate comfortably on a private 8-hour vehicle tour designed around the city’s classic highlights. Avoid changing trams and buses as your private car connects the historic port area, Goryokaku, waterfront sights and Mt. Hakodate in one day.

Your default route is Hakodate pickup → Hakodate Morning Market → Goryokaku → Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse → Motomachi Historic District → Mt. Hakodate → Hakodate drop-off. Begin at the Morning Market to browse seafood stalls and local food shops, then continue to Goryokaku to explore the star-shaped fort area. Goryokaku Tower can be visited at your own expense if desired.

Continue to the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse waterfront before exploring Motomachi’s sloping streets, churches and Western-style architecture. Finish at Mt. Hakodate for panoramic views over the city. Depending on the season, start time, weather and visibility, this stop may take place in daylight, around sunset or after dark.

This is a private vehicle service with a regular driver only. Guide service and an English-speaking driver are not included or guaranteed. The driver provides transportation and basic route coordination, not professional sightseeing commentary. Admission tickets, ropeway fares, meals and personal expenses are paid separately.

Please contact us at least 24 hours before departure for reasonable route requests within the booked 8-hour service. If no request is received, the default route will apply. Actual stop order and duration may change due to traffic, parking, weather, attraction hours, road restrictions and Mt. Hakodate access conditions.
