      Zona Arqueologica Teotihuacan (Pass by)
It is dedicated to VIP travelers, which means that we go directly to the most important temples without having to stand in line. We visit the Plaza de la Luna, the Temple of the Butterflies, the Calzada de los Muertos and the Pyramid of the Sun. We also quickly go through the process of La Obcidiana as part of the economy that the city had when it was in its splendor, the tour also includes a visit to the sacred caves of the archaeological site where we have some original offerings as well as a pre-Hispanic observatory.
      Calzada de los Muertos
      • 20m
Along its route, which culminates in the Pyramid of the Moon, you can see different small pyramidal structures that some researchers misidentify as housing complexes occupied by ancient priests. It is important to point out that these structures are superimposed on other older pyramids and where it can be seen that in very remote times the city was devastated by some fires.

      Pirámide del Sol
      • 20m
Its construction began in the Tzacualli stage (1-150 AD), when Teotihuacán began to develop as the main city of Mesoamerica. It is 63.4 m high. At the top there was a temple and a statue of an idol of great proportions; now there is only a square platform with a somewhat irregular surface. Its nucleus is made of adobe and in the past, it was all covered with paintings on stucco. Due to its location, it closes the Calzada de los Muertos in one of the axes.2 Pyramid of the Sun (aerial view) In 1971, further excavations and surveys uncovered a grotto below the pyramid. In this grotto there are four doors, arranged like the petals of a flower, through which you can access as many other rooms. The grotto is reached through a 7 m long well at the foot of the pyramid's steps.
