The tour begins at 9:30 a.m. with a pickup from your hotel or home in Nairobi. We will drive you to David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for a walk through the small center from 11am to 12pm in an open environment surrounded by a rope fence. The baby elephants walk out of the woods to welcome their keepers, who are ready with big bottles of milk. You may watch each child gulp and gargle their milk for the next 10-15 minutes. When they're finished, there's water to play in and keepers to nudge and cuddle. While you get to watch them play and photograph them. You learn how old they were when they arrived to the orphanage, where they were rescued from, and other details.
