One Philips Dr Atlanta, Georgia
Since opening its doors in 1999, Atlanta’s Philips Arena has been home to both the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream. The multi-purpose venue is considered one of the best in the East, with room for more than 17,000 fans to cheer on the home team during basketball matchups, catch a concert by superstars such as U2 and Madonna, and—for the first time in 2018—watch college teams battle it out in the NCAA Basketball Tournament .
The state-of-the-art venue hosts more than 160 events and nearly 2 million guests a year, with events also including ice skating shows, political conventions, and comedy festivals. The world-class arena has welcomed NBA All-Star events, WWE Royal Rumbles, and Atlantic Coast Conference basketball games. In 2018, Philips Arena will host the NCAA Basketball college competition for the very first time. Fans can grab tickets to see which teams will play their way through the South Regionals Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games to earn a berth in the Men’s Final Four at San Antonios’s Alamodome.
