Known for its big crowds and NBA-grade facilities, the home of the University of Dayton Flyers is no stranger to action and has hosted the Division 1 men’s basketball tournament more times than any other court.
Opened in 1969 with major renovations in 1998 and 2002, the arena stands out as one of the prime event space in Ohio. Jay-Z, Kenny Chesney, Aerosmith, and Elvis Presley have all performed here, along with WWE matches and the Royal Hanneford Circus. And NCAA Basketball Tournament has brought the country’s attention to the arena’s Blackburn Court, which has hosted more than 100 NCAA tournament games, including every First Four game since 2011.
