Eastern Oregon

Sagebrush plains, rimrock vistas and unspoiled rivers define the wide-open landscapes of Eastern Oregon, which calls out for backcountry exploring. Find a section of the historic Oregon Trail, fish for trout in a Wild and Scenic River, kick up your heels at a rodeo or stay the night on a working cattle ranch.

Portland Region

Take a nationally acclaimed dining destination, a cutting-edge artisan enclave, add a thriving arts scene and thread it through with natural wonders and an acclaimed wine country – that’s the Portland Region. Here you can go from boutiquing to berry picking, hiking to haute cuisine, or touring craft breweries to estate wineries in a matter of minutes.

Mt. Hood & Columbia Gorge

Two iconic features dominate the mythical landscape of this region: the soaring basalt cliffs forming the tremendous river gorge and the snow-capped peak of the state’s highest volcano. You’ll find towering old-growth forests, waterfalls, family farms and orchards, where chefs harvest fresh ingredients for their seasonally changing menus.

Oregon Coast

Thanks to the pioneering Oregon Beach Bill, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2017, the public can freely access every sandy inch of beach on the Oregon Coast. This stretch of U.S. 101 is lined with beautiful state parks, historic lighthouses, soaring sand dunes and fishing villages.

Willamette Valley

Cradled by the Coast range to the west and the Cascade Mountains to the east, Oregon’s Willamette Valley is home to a farm-to-fork food scene, a world-class wine industry and a pioneering people who are inspired by the mix of culture and outdoor adventure that this diverse region offers.

Central Oregon

Sunny skies, snowy mountains, alpine lakes and sagebrush plains serve as the backdrop for this outdoor playground. Anchored by the city of Bend, this region is home to all the skiing, hiking, climbing, biking, fishing and golf of your dreams.

Southern Oregon

In this part of Oregon, you can see America’s deepest lake, visit one of the state’s highest towns, explore one of the West’s largest cave systems and fish or raft iconic rivers, like the Umpqua and the Rogue. There are gold rush towns and historic cities filled with chef-owned eateries, galleries and theaters, and surrounded by vineyards and wine tasting rooms galore.
