Escape the city and experience the Rockies with our guided hiking tour. In the summer, it’s the perfect way to beat the Denver heat, with mountain temperatures usually 20 degrees cooler, often in the 60s and 70s. As winter approaches, we can provide snowshoes or micro spikes for safe trekking.
We offer a few options depending on the season but here are some examples:
Alpine Lake Hike: Just an hour away, this 4-mile round-trip hike takes about 3 hours and offers stunning views and cascading waterfalls in summer.
Bison Reserve Hike: A 35-minute drive brings us to a 3.5-mile, easier hike with great views and a chance to see bison up close, separated only by a fence.
Historic Mining Area Hike: About an hour from Denver, this 4.5-mile trail leads through an old mining area, once known as the “Switzerland of America,” with beautiful scenery along the way.
Our small, flexible tours allow us to choose the best hike for the day, considering the weather and the group’s energy level. We will provide Sandwiches, snacks, water and hiking poles.
