Weekend getaways in Terre Haute

Property was nice the only dislike is that you have to travel on a gravel road to get there. This is not the fault of the owner by any means. Had a nice stay.

It is a historic three story home built in the 1800’s on 9 acres. The 6 rooms are richly appointed. The area is surrounded by corn fields. The owner, Hans is an excellent friendly host and a first class musician. He also serves as a breakfast chef and serves french toast from a family secret recipe. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if luckily our travels bring us back to the area. Highly recommended.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was so friendly. The atmosphere was very homey. The breakfast was excellent. We have stayed here a few times before and would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice place to stay and visit while in the local area.

The staff was amazing and check in and check out were seamless. There were many perks available breakfast, happy hour, popcorn, soda!

Very nice room - but check-in was a nightmare. The key did not scan - so we pulled our suitcase back down to the front desk - they swiped the key again, acted like we were cray and didn't know how to operate the room key and sent us back up to try again. The key did not work. We pulled our suitcase down to the lobby again. The gentleman at the desk acted like we weren't doing something correct and swiped the key again and handed it to me. I would highly recommend this hotel! I think it was probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed, and the beds were super comfortable in a large room. The location is ideal (we came for the festival). A restaurant is located in the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Our property of choice when visiting family brings us to the Terre Haute area. Clean, comfortable and friendly/helpful staff.

easy check in, and out. the room is welcoming, as well as , the staff. I wish I could of stayed longer, but looking forward to the next time I stay.

This was one amazing hotel. Everything about the hotel I adored. Got back home to my town and was trying to find the hotel so I can arrange another stay there .

Wonderful room, and an amazing breakfast! I'd stay here again!

The room was wonderfully clean, and the staff were very friendly and patient, as I took 4 ten-year-olds for the night for a birthday party. I wouldn't suggest staying in the pool or hot tub for more than a half hour at a time, as they seem to have too much chemical in the water. The kids all had bloodshot eyes and some had some blistered areas on their skin. Otherwise, this was a great place to stay!

They remodeled since the last time I stayed. The beds are more comfortable and rooms were repainted. The room wasn't cleaned as it should have been. Pretzels were on the floor and bathroom toilet and around were not cleaned thoroughly. We cleaned it ourselves with wipes.
