Description

Discover thundering waterfalls, mighty glaciers, black-sand beaches, and jagged mountain peaks on this 2-day excursion through Iceland's incredible landscapes. Put your hiking shoes to use as you explore the scenery of the South Coast, hunt for the Northern Lights, and venture into brilliant blue ice caves.

Day 1: South Coast & Northern Lights After pickup in Reykjavik, spend the day driving down the breathtakingly beautiful South Coast. Marvel at waterfalls, glaciers, and lava fields at the Eyjafjallajökull volcano, visit the black-sand beach of Reynisfjara in the coastal village of Vik, and venture deep into the countryside to try to witness the Northern Lights. Stay overnight in comfortable accommodations to recharge for the upcoming day.

Day 2: Jökulsárlón Ice Lagoon & Ice Caves Set out early in the morning to see the massive floating icebergs at Jökulsárlón Ice Lagoon, and then venture into Crystal Ice Cave, known for its vivid blue color.
