What you can expect
Venture aboard a well-appointed trimaran and explore the Whitsunday Islands during a 3-day sailing and snorkeling adventure. Soak up the sun's rejuvenating rays, feast on delicious homemade meals prepared by a friendly crew, and unlock the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef.
Join your captain and crew in Airlie Beach and venture aboard the Avatar, a trimaran composed of a main compartment with dueling outrigger hulls. A high-tech racing yacht, the Avatar's sophisticated configuration provides a thrilling ride for yachting enthusiasts. Get acquainted with the streamlined vessel and then take off, setting sail for the breathtaking Whitsunday Islands.
Devote the following 2 days to a trio of sailing, snorkeling, and sunbathing. Bond with the captain and crew, and pick up fascinating information about how to navigate the stately vessel. Or, don a mask and flippers and plunge beneath the azure waves of the Coral Sea at world-famous snorkel and dive sites like Luncheon Bay, Caves Cove, and Blue Pearl Bay.
Throughout your voyage, note an array of marine life like clownfish and coral trout. Keep your eyes peeled for dugong—resident relatives of the manatee. Each night, dine on offerings like spaghetti bolognese, fresh salad, and handmade bread. Finally, set aside some time to sunbathe aboard the Avatar's spacious deck. Marvel at the sunlight-dappled surf and the islands dotted with lush rainforest in the distance.
