Activity itinerary

White House
  • 25m
Your experience begins in Lafayette Square, across from the White House. Your personal tour guide will provide statistics and reveal historical facts about the neighborhood, pointing out Saint John's Episcopal, "Church of the Presidents." You will be given time to stroll down Pennsylvania Avenue and take photos of the Executive Mansion, as well as the West Wing Command Center, the international press cubicles, and the Old Executive Building, home of the Vice Presidency. We do not enter the White House.
Washington Monument (Pass by)
We will drive around the George Washington Monument, the Founding Father and First President of the United States of America. The impressive obelisk can be seen from all around during the tour.
The Pentagon (Pass by)
United States Department of Defense, The Pentagon.
Arlington National Cemetery
  • 1h 20m
  • Admission ticket included
The most important military cemetery in the nation, where we will visit the final resting place of the iconic presidential couple John and Jacqueline Kennedy. 1 hour stop, plus 20 minutes of travel towards our next stop, the Lincoln Memorial.
U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial
  • 20m
United States Marine Corps. Famous bronze sculpture depicting six Marines raising the flagpole atop Mount Suribachi at the Battle of Iwo Jima 1945. While the scene depicts one of the most famous engagements of World War II, the memorial is dedicated to all Marines who have given their lives in defense of the United States since 1775.
Lincoln Memorial
  • 20m
This neoclassical temple designed by American Beaux-Arts architect (Henry Bacon) and statuary interior designer (Daniel Chester French) pays tribute to the 16th President of the United States.
Vietnam Veterans Memorial
  • 20m
Vietnam War Veterans Memorial. Honoring all members of the U.S. armed forces who served from 1955 to 1975 in Laos, Cambodia and Saigon.
Korean War Veterans Memorial
  • 20m
Korean War Veterans Memorial. Just south of the reflecting pool on the National Mall, a 1955 war scene is depicted, with 19 stainless steel soldiers walking along the 38th parallel north, the border between North and South Korea.
Jefferson Memorial (Pass by)
In honor of Thomas Jefferson, the principal author of the United States Declaration of Independence and the nation's third president.
U.S. Capitol
  • 20m
At the intersection of First Street and Maryland Avenue (James Garfield Circle) you will get off and walk along the west side of the Capitol facade. This is where elected presidents take the oath of constitutional allegiance every four years. The sense of grandeur of standing in front of the Capitol is enigmatic; also impressive is the panoramic view of the G. Washington Obelisk in the distance, and the National Mall with the Smithsonian Institution Museums around it. We did not enter the Capitol.
L'Enfant Plaza
  • 20m
We board again and conclude our tour where we started at L’Enfant Plaza, for your convenience you will find a large and modern gallery with a food court and/or restaurant patio, as well as a variety of shops; the modern L’Enfant Plaza, apart from having an important METRO station, is located 7 minutes from the Information Castle of the free Smithsonian Institution of Museums, where you can walk to the National Gallery of Classical Art, the Air and Space Museum or any of the museums that are only 50 meters away from each other around you. Courage, optimism and spirit is all you need to continue discovering and writing down in your journal such an unforgettable experience.
