Day 1: Train to Lao Cai Your outing begins in the evening with a ride from your hotel to Hanoi's railway station, where the train is waiting. Spend the night in a sleeper car as you ride across the countryside on the way to Lao Cai Province.

Day 2: Sa Pa, Lao Chai & Ta Van Village After you arrive at the Lao Cai railway station, your guide shows you to Sa Pa for breakfast and a shower before you move on to the village of Lao Chai. After a picnic lunch on the way to the bottom of the Sa Pa valley, admire the beautiful sights around the village of Ta Van and stay the night with a local family.

Day 3: Giang Ta Chai Village & Sa Pa Start the day's trip with a ride up to Giang Ta Chai village, where you can get to know the Red Zdao people and visit a beautiful waterfall in the afternoon. Next, a motorcycle or jeep takes you for a ride back to Sa Pa for dinner at local restaurant.

Day 4: Cat Cat & Sin Chai Spend the morning free to explore Sa Pa on your own before a trip to the villages of Cat Cat and Sin Chai. After a look at the waterfall in Cat Cat, head back to Sa Pa to pick up your luggage ahead of the overnight train ride back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Return to Hanoi The tour comes to an end when you arrive back in Hanoi, with a transfer carrying you right back to your hotel.
