Ravensburg is one of the beautiful, particularly well-preserved historical cities in southern Germany. As an imperial city and seat of the Ravensburger trading company, Ravensburg rose to become the center of the Lake Constance region in the late Middle Ages. Striking buildings, squares and streets characterize the historic old town, which is still largely preserved today.

The classic 'Ravensburg City History' gives you an overview of the city's origins, its most important historical eras and sights, and Ravensburg today. Stops include Marienplatz, Bachstrasse, the town hall, the Kornhaus, the Evangelical City Church and the upper town with the museum district.
