NO LOWER DECK. EVERY CABIN FACES THE SEA.
If you have compared Komodo liveaboards, you have seen the gap between
cabin prices. That gap is usually a deck. The cheapest beds sit on the
lower deck, inside the hull: no window, no daylight, air that never
quite moves, and the engine on the other side of the wall. Two nights in
one of those is a long two nights.
Every cabin for you is on the main or upper deck, air conditioned, with a window facing the water. Sharing or private, standard or superior, all four
options are ocean view. There is no cheaper cabin hidden below to be
assigned to, and no upgrade you need to buy in order to avoid one.
WHAT THAT CHANGES OVER TWO NIGHTS
Daylight in the morning instead of a light switch. Air conditioning
working with fresh air rather than against a sealed hull. Distance from
the engine room, so the boat is quieter at anchor. And when the flying
foxes lift off at Kalong or the sun comes up behind Padar, you are
already at deck level.
THREE DAYS ACROSS KOMODO NATIONAL PARK
Nine stops: Kelor, Manjarite, Kalong, Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo Island,
Manta Point, Taka Makassar and Siaba. Your guide gets into the water
with the group at every snorkel stop and runs a shallow-water session
for anyone snorkeling for the first time. Park rangers lead the walk on
Komodo Island.
PREMIUM DOCUMENTATION, INCLUDED
A dedicated team films your trip. Drone for Padar at sunrise, the
sandbar at Taka Makassar and the boat against the sunset at Kalong.
Mirrorless camera on the treks and on Komodo Island, shot from a safe
distance so you never have to choose between watching the dragons and
photographing them. GoPro in the water at every snorkel stop, including
the mantas and the turtles at Siaba.
Leave your phone in the cabin. You get the whole set afterwards, photos
and video, at no extra cost and with nothing to buy on board.
EVERY FEE IS ALREADY PAID
The Komodo National Park entrance fee, the conservation levy, the ranger
fees and every entrance ticket are settled before you board. Most
operators list these separately and collect them in cash at the counter,
which for a foreign guest is around IDR 650,000 per person on top of the
tour price. Here the price you see is the price you pay, and you will
not be asked for cash at any point in three days.
