      • Please note that this tour can be cancelled in case no truffles are present in the area. This could occur due to exceptional frost or particular weather conditions before the day of the tour

      • The price for the truffle hunting experience does not include the Trufolaio’s fee, which is 40Euro for 2 people and 30Euro for groups of 3 or more. The fee will be paid directly to the tartufaiolo in cash during the experience, based on the total number of participants in the group that day.

      What you can expect

      Enjoy an amazing truffle hunting with a professional “Trifolao” and his trained dog near Monforte d' Alba. Breathe pure air in a gorgeous wood and enjoy the intense truffle scent. Meet the hunter and his dogs, who are specially trained to sniff out truffles, you’ll have a good chance of tracking down the elusive fungi. Along the way, learn more about truffles and why they are so rare, and pick up expert tips on how to find them.

      The experience ends with a wine tasting paired with cheese with black truffle, scratched on top.

      The price for the truffle hunting experience does not include the trifulao’s fee. This fee is:
      40 euro per person for groups of two people
      30 euro per person for groups of three or more
      The fee must be paid in cash directly to the Trifulao on the day of the experience, based on the total number of participants.”
