Begin your tour with a pickup starting at 06:30 AM from your respective hotel. Your first stop will be after approximately 1 hour of traveling in the high plateau Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons located 4200 above sea level. In these lagoons, you can have breakfast and appreciate the fauna of the place.

Then, go to Piedras Rojas and visit Salar de Aguas Calientes and Salar de Talar, where you can see the rock formations reddish colors. The next stop is in the Atacameño village of Socaire, where you can have lunch in a typical restaurant. You can also see the cultivation terraces and the village church. Then, visit the Salar de Atacama, the largest salt flat in Chile, where the flamingo's national reserve is located. Visit the Chaxa lagoon to observe 3 types of flamingos, as well as other species that inhabit the lagoons. A good day trip with an excellent guide and some amazing scenery. The only drawback was that there was a lot of driving involved.
