Day 01 : Guwahati Arrival To Shillong
On arrival at Guwahati Airport assistance and warm welcome by our representative and transfer to Shillong, also known as ‘The Scotland of the East’ is the capital city of Meghalaya. En route you will visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India – Umium Lake. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 02 : Shillong To Cherrapunjee
Today early morning drive to Cherrapunjee which is famed for being the wettest place in the world. En-route visit Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls and Mawkdok Dympep Valley and enjoy Zip Line. After a drive of 2 hours amid pine trees and mists reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. In Cherrapunjee, visit the Dainthlem Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Seven sister falls (also known as Nohsngithiang Falls and Eco Park. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.
Day 03 : Cherrapunjee (Double Decker Root Bridge)
Early morning our driver will drop you at the starting point of trekking to Double Decker Root Bridge (Trek approx 6,000 steps up and down). If time permits visit Rainbow Falls. Later track back to Cherrapunjee, meet our drive and drive to hotel. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.
Day 04 : Full Day at Cherrapunjee
After breakfast proceed for caving at Arwah Cave and Krem Mawmluh Cave. Later visit Thankharang Park. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.
Day 05 : Cherrapunjee to Mawlynnong – Dawki
After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong Village known as the cleanest village in Asia and the God’s own Garden. On arrival, visit the Living Root Bridge. Later drive to Dawki . Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place and then visit the cleanest river Umngot (in Shnong Padeng Village). Overnight at Shillong.
Day 06 : Shillong Sightseeing
After Breakfast proceed to visit Laitlum Grand Canyon & Smit Village. Later back to Shillong & visit Cathedral of Marry, Ward’s Lake & evening at Police Bazaar. Overnight at Shillong.
Day 07 : David Scott Trail Trekking
After breakfast drive to Mawphlang, starting point to David Scott Trail. The David Scott Trail, named after the British administrator David Scott is one of the oldest trekking routes in Meghalaya. The David Scott Trail is a stretch of 16 km from Mawphlang to Lad Mawphlang.
Day 08: Departure
After breakfast transfer to Guwahati airport or railway station for onward destination.
