Enjoy a full-day tour to the Bay of Islands, complete with a scenic cruise out to Cape Brett. Visit the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds, view magnificent kauri trees, and spot dolphins and other marine wildlife along the stunning coastline.

Begin your journey with a hotel pickup, cross over the Auckland Harbour Bridge, and travel toward Whangarei, New Zealand's northernmost city. If time permits, stop at the Parry Kauri Park to view a beautiful stand of native kauri trees.

Upon arrival at the Bay of Islands, visit the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds, where the Maorians and Europeans first came together to sign a treaty of understanding. Join a guided tour and marvel at the magnificent Maori meeting house as well as the large war canoe on display.

Afterward, board a high-speed catamaran for a cruise to the famous Cape Brett Hole In the Rock on Piercy Island. The hole is large enough for the boat to sail through (subject to weather conditions). Spot whales, dolphins, and hundreds of sea birds diving into huge schools of fish.

Savor lunch on board the cruise while listening to informative commentary detailing the history of the many islands of the bay. Back on the mainland, hop on board the coach for your return transfer to Auckland.
