Board the Bernina red train and journey through gorges and past glacier lakes, reaching heights of 7,400 feet (2,250 m) before alighting in the chic winter resort of St. Moritz.

After a scenic coach ride crossing the border from Italy to Switzerland, climb board the “Little Red Train”. Travel over curved viaducts and through winding tunnels, passing wild gorges, icy glaciers, and stone fields. Open your window to let in the fresh Alpine air and fill your camera with sweeping photos as you pass by this stunning landscape.

After your 2.5-hour ride, reach St. Moritz and step off the train to uncover all that there is to see in this premier ski resort for the glamorous and wealthy. Spend some time window shopping luxury boutiques, grab a drink at a cafe, and keep your eyes peeled for famous folks before returning to your coach and enjoying the ride back to Milan.

A beautiful train ride through the alps, even on a cloudy day. The tour bus ride from Milan to St. Moritz also provided stunning views. Our guide, Josie, was awesome - friendly, kind and informative. Our train was not the glass top train, but all the windows opened for an incredible experience - great for taking photos and videos and to feel the fresh mountain air. Our train car was a lot of fun - everyone was up and about, moving from one side to the other trying to get the best views and capture the best photos/videos. St. Moritz was super quiet and no stores were open, but we were only there for a couple hours - enough time to walk around a bit and have lunch. Overall great experience.
