There's a lot to see amid the hustle and bustle of the city of the 7 hills. Walk through the cobblestone streets as your guide tells you about the history of the capital. Taste some of the best Portuguese treats—like the famous nata pastry and local wine—and hear about the culture of fado music.

Start your tour at Rossio Square and visit the heart of both old and new Lisbon. Your local guide explains how an earthquake destroyed the city in the 1800s.

See the obelisk in Restauradores Square and the intricate neo-Manueline architecture of the old Central Train Station. Then the elegant neighborhood of Chiado awaits you with its old cafés, boutiques, and theaters. You will have time to indulge in the famous nata pastry.

Wander through a maze of small squares and narrow alleyways in the Moorish neighborhood Alfama, where time seems to have stopped hundreds of years ago. You learn about fado, a Portuguese music genre, as you go past the Fado Museum and some of Alfama's nearly hidden fado restaurants.

You stop at an old wine bar for wine tasting and tapas. Then you visit Se Cathedral, the city's oldest church. Your walk finishes in Comércio Square, the former entrance hall of the city.

JoAna was an awesome tour guide. We took another walking tour of the city a few days before this one so we were worried we would just hear the same things over again but that was not the case. JoAna offered a unique prospective. She was open to answer any questions you had. Overall great experience! Great food and wine!

The walking tour was a brilliant introduction to Lisbon. Carolina was a great tour guide and gave a lot of insights into the city. It was a fairly easy walk and we took in the cathedral and elevador. Carolina gave us lots to look at and we visited some great views and vistas. She also shared her local knowledge of the city and recommended good places to visit and a wonderful place to eat. I would really recommend this tour
