Our most popular tour picks up in your hotel around 5:15 am to arrive at Mundo Aventura Natural Park by 5:30 am, and ends around 9:30 am, after a delicious light breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, and coffee. The circuit trail combines tree plantations, a gallery forest alongside on of the important rivers of the area, a regenerating forest with open grasslands and pastures, and small brooks which permit the observation of typical open area birds, in addition to aquatic and wooded area birds.
Among the most common birds found here, we have: Great Kiskadees, Tropical Kingbird Flycatchers, Montezuma Orioles, Variable Seedeaters, Tropical Tyrants, Red-billed Pigeons, and Groove-billed Anis. In addition, you can observe less common resident species like the Iron Architect which gets its name from the impressive twig platform it creates for a nest. The Laughing Falcon is a good-sized hawk whose presence is an indicator of a healthy environment, this because their diet depends on snakes, which in turn feed on frogs, rodents, lizards, birds and other snakes. In the park it is also possible to see Black-Cheeked Woodpeckers and Purple Trogons.
