Begin your experience by exploring the museum, where you’ll learn about the history of Bundaberg Rum. Then, join an expert distillery guide on a one-hour journey deep into the heart of the working Bundaberg Rum Distillery.
Start by visiting the molasses well, which holds up to 5 million liters of molasses, fresh from the sugar mill across the road. Then, get a sneak peek into one of the fermentation tanks, before learning all about the double distillation process.
Finally, head to the grand Barrel House, where you’ll learn about how the rum is aged and matured for a minimum of two years before it makes its way into a bottle.
Once you’ve experienced the sights and smells of the distillery, return to the Bundaberg Rum Tasting Bar, where you can sample any of the top-shelf rums from the range. Cheers to that! (One rum and one liqueur).
An alternative self guided walk through of our museum showcasing the history of Bundaberg Rum and the rum making process can be purchased on arrival for $20.00 per Adult and does not need to be pre-booked. This also includes two free rum or liqueur tastings. (One of each) This experience does not access the actual distillery.
All guests are also welcome in our Bear Garden Alfresco Dining area where you can purchase one of our signature “Bundy Banger” Hotdogs, a selection of snacks and hot and cold beverages.
