Choose to hike either Lion's Head or Table Mountain, the 2 most popular mountains in Cape Town to hike. Select the correct option when making your booking.
Lion's Head Options:
Sunrise - Start the hike before dawn while it's still dark. Use the flashlights provided to light your way as you climb up the mountain, reaching the summit in time to watch the sun come up, bathing everything it touches in a golden glow.
Sunset - Start a couple of hours before sunset. Reach the summit about an hour before sunset and then drop down to a lower section that is less crowded. Watch as the sun dips below the horizon before making your way back down in the twilight. Flashlights will be provided when required.
Meet your professional mountain guide at the start or choose a convenient pickup from your accommodation. After a quick brief your will begin your ascent.
Move at a steady pace, hiking, scrambling, and climbing along a steep trail as you make your way to the summit, 669 meters above sea level.
Once at the top, take in sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, including the city of Cape Town, Table Mountain, the Twelve Apostles, and much more.
