WARNING: if you visit on a day with bad weather, and the cable car and/or train are closed, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND. This happened to me. We visited on a day with terrible weather. The cable car (Aiguille du Midi) was running, but you could not see anything. Also, the train to the Mer de Glace was closed due to bad weather, and we were told that there is no refund at all. The only thing we were offered was a free bus ride from Geneva to Chamonix, the next day but we would still have to pay for another ticket for the cable car to Aiguille du Midi and the train to Mer de Glace. Those are the main highlights...and there's not much else to the tour. So we ended up just wasting three hours sitting around a cafe waiting for the bus to go back to Geneva. On that note, the bus leaves strictly at 5 pm (17:00) because it serves as both the tour bus for Key Tours but also the public bus for public transportation from Chamonix to Geneva.

Great time. Beautiful trip. Neil was nice and helpful. It’s a do it yourself trip, you are not going to have Neil dragging you around all day. You come and go as you please which is great.

This was labeled as a “guided tour” but it was anything but that. The tour guide basically just dropped us off it’s the lift and expected us to figure out where to go. Many of the people got lost in our tour including my mom and I. I was very unhappy with this tour and the lack of explanation of anything. She also didn’t speak English well and no one could understand what she was saying. Overall very unpleasant experience.
