What you can expect

Set out for a rough-and-tumble backcountry adventure through the wilds of the Alaskan tundra. Learn to drive an ATV on your own or hop in as a passenger with a guide behind the wheel, and then charge down wooded trails, dry creek beds, and wide open spaces on this adrenaline-pumping off-road journey.

Get picked up from your hotel or meet right at the shop to get set up with all the gear you need, slipping on a helmet, gloves, and goggles before your orientation. Spend some time getting introduced to driving an ATV or snag a seat with a guide behind the handlebars, and then tear off into the bumpy, muddy wilds of the Alaskan landscape.

Speed down old coal mining trails, and kick up dust as you tackle the Dry Creek riverbed, where Athabascan artifacts have been unearthed during archaeological digs. Check out an abandoned cabin, and stop whenever you'd like to snap photos or watch your surroundings for native wildlife. If you wish, you can purchase the option that includes a meal at a wilderness pavilion, the perfect place to soak in the scenery and let your adrenaline settle over a hearty breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
