Explore the Chilean coast with a guided tour of 2 of the country’s seaside gems—the charming hillside port city of Valparaiso and picturesque beachfront Viña del Mar.
Admire the bright buildings, colorful homes, and cobbled streets of this UNESCO World Heritage site—nicknamed “the Jewel of the Pacific.” This coastal township’s historic architecture, steep hillsides and funiculars, and bustling port city ambience offer up charm in spades.
The tour begins with pick-up from your hotel and a panoramic drive through the Curacaví Valley and the Casablanca Valley, known for their landscapes and vineyards. We will head to Valparaíso, the picturesque port city of Chile, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2003. Here, we will take a guided walk through the colorful Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepción, two of the city's most traditional neighborhoods, famous for their narrow streets, murals, and spectacular views.
We will visit the iconic Plaza Sotomayor in the historic heart of Valparaíso, and then head to the Flower Clock, one of the most iconic attractions of Viña del Mar.
You will have free time to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant (lunch not included). Afterward, we will head to one of the beautiful beaches of Viña del Mar, where you will have time to enjoy the coastal scenery.
At the end of the tour, we will return to Santiago, with drop-off directly at your accommodation.—
