For all nature lovers and those who enjoy the beauty and quietness of an uninhabited Island, Contoy Island has been a natural protected area since 1961 and, due to its biodiversity, a National Park since 1998, making it the best choice.

Isla Contoy is any adventurer’s dream, a virgin Island at the edge of the Caribbean and the Gulf of México, a federal reserve and bird sanctuary. You can be one of the lucky 200 people who are allowed daily on the Island with our fabulous all-inclusive eco tour!

We offer pick-ups with our own vans at every hotel in the Cancun area, as well as along the Riviera Maya, passing through Playa del Carmen and up to the Tulum area, with a meeting point near Tulum City at Hacienda Doña Isabel. As you arrive at our private marina located at the Punta Sam Ferry terminal, you will receive a fast check-in and a light breakfast that includes sweet bread, coffee, and juice. At 09:45 am, we will board the boat and head to Isla Mujeres, where you will have time to visit the typical fishermen’s village or do some shopping for an hour.

Then, we board the boat and head to Ixlache Reef, located right in front of Contoy Island, which is part of Contoy National Park, ensuring a great biodiversity.

Snorkeling gear is included and the use of a Life vest is mandatory, you will be accompanied by a bilingual guide, one for every 10 people. This activity will take 30 minutes. Once the snorkeling is over, we will board the ship to navigate to Contoy Island. In the event of bad weather, we will conduct the snorkel activity at the Island Caleta for security reasons.

Once we disembark in Contoy, you will be able to enjoy it’s white sand beaches and the virgin and crystal clear waters where we can find from colorful fish to rays and birds flying. You can also do some sightseeing by foot, visit the museum and observatory on your own or with our specialized certified guides by the SEMARNAT (Mexican Government natural resources office) go to the dunes and know about flora and fauna species of the Island finishing in the birds lagoon, you can also choose to relax in the beautiful beach if you preffer not to go.

Then it’s lunch time, we have the world famous “Pescado Tikinxic” which is broiled fish with achiote and broliled chicken, all this with rice ans salad as well as your favorite drink. After lunch we go back navigating to Cancun with a fun party on board.
