The day tour to maasai village starts from Nairobi at 6.00am and drive for 2 hours and get to maasai village.
You will get to maasai village at around 8am .
you will be welcomed in the village with traditional songs and dances, visit the masaai house, you will be welcomed by the women of the home show you how they prepare food and how to make maasai ornaments.
Maasai houses are made of sticks and Cowdung with a small window,
The houses are poorly ventilated and Dimly lit ,They are divided into, kitchen, bedroom and a goat room, according to the maasai culture women are the ones who build the houses.
you will enjoy a guided tour around the village,The guide will explain the maasai traditions and way of life.
Enjoy milking the goats and also learn the maasai dance which is done by warriors in readiness for battle or cultural ceremonies .
you will be invited to maasai market to buy curious made locally by the villagers the money received goes towards educating the children and buying food.
