The guide will tell you about history and significance of the island of Lokrum. The hike along the Old caravan route to Orsula takes about 20 minutes. During the break in Park Orsula, you will see and hear about local herbs and local culture. After the hike down, we will set out on a downhill walk through one of the most peaceful parts of Dubrovnik, Sv Jacob. As we near the Old Town, we walk through and hear about the 17th century quarantine Lazareti. At the fort Revelin you will have a view to the Old Port and hear the story about its significance for seafaring and merchant history of the Republic of Dubrovnik. You will hear a short overview of the city's fortifications.
