Know before you book

The official St. Mark’s Basilica ticket price is 12.00 euros per person (standard) or 24.00 euros with terrace access; the remaining part of the price covers assistance at the meeting point, accompanied entry with a certified guide or host, access to the Venice Gallery and sales costs.
A valid ID document is mandatory for security checks at the entrance to the Basilica.
Tour does not operate in case of exceptional high tide or in case of unplanned religious functions (in these cases it can be postponed to the day after otherwise it will be refunded)
You can also book a private option for a more exclusive tour (up to 8 persons). The meeting point for the private tour is at Venice Tours Assistance Point in St. Mark's Square, Calle Larga Ascensione #1257.The Assistance Point is the big grey newsstand between Fendi boutique and Poste Italiane.
On Sundays, feast days and in case of unplanned religious celebrations the tour foresees the visit with direct access to the Terrace and to St. Mark's Museum situated on the first floor.
Due to security reasons, luggage and big bags are not allowed inside the Basilica
The visit is monolingual
Unfortunately this tour is not fully accessible for wheelchair users or people with walking disabilities.

Marvel at the golden mosaics and marble floors as your guide explains the meaning behind the biblical scenes depicted all over this Gothic Byzantine cathedral. Enjoy the view from the Terrace and discover the fascinating San Marco Museum.

In the end, you can visit by yourself the Museums around St.Mark's Square as Museo Correr, Biblioteca Marciana, and the National Archeological Museum
