Each session is approximately 3 hours in total, with the goal of taking a significant memory of your own creation home on canvas with you. Expect about 45 minutes of introduction to the horses and the property and then simple snacks and beverages for you and the horses while you get acquainted with the painting process which will last about 2 hours. Dress comfortably and practically for an active experience. We recommend sturdy footwear like boots or old sneakers and comfortable clothing such as jeans or sweatpants. Layers are also a good idea to adjust to changing weather conditions which can range from hot and dusty, to chilly and damp with possible mud on those rare rainy days in Santa Barbara. As Restoration Ranch is a working ranch with large animals in nature, all participants must sign a liability waiver before arrival.
