Description

Explore Grenada comprehensively in an air-conditioned bus. Visit the Annandale Waterfall, Dougaldston Estate, Leapers Hill, Belmont Estate, Grand E'tang Lake, and Fort Frederick. Your friendly and professional guide provides insight and commentary on the island's history and layout.

After getting picked up from your hotel, arrive at the Annandale Waterfall, to appreciate the serene beauty of this natural wonder. Next, visit the Dougaldston Estate. Admire the old but charming estate, well-known for its spice produce, an historical site that also smells good. Enjoy the convenient walk around the old estate to get a feel for what it was like. Then go to Leaper's Hill, with its fascinating tales of colonization along the Americas.

The Belmont Estate stands as just one of Grenada's many popular spice tours for those interested in learning about the island nation's rich flavors. This 300-year-old plantation specializes in such spices as ginger, pimento, turmeric, and nutmeg. While visiting the estate, you can see how these spices are processed, and wander through the 400-acre property's gardens, museum, and goat milk farm.

Next, visit Grand E'tang Lake, a natural water-filled crater of one of Grenada's extinct volcanoes. The final stop, before returning to your hotel or cruise port, is Fort Frederick. This site really has something for everyone. History, landscape, sea, views, and more views!

Best guide ever! I had an amazing day in Grenada and that couldn’t have been possible without Tony. Tony picked me up from my hotel at scheduled time and gave a brief overview of the sights we would be seeing and stopping at along the way. At each stop he would advise of the entrance fee if any and other vendors that may be there soliciting and their expectations. Tony also informed me that a simple “no thank you” to any vendor would be graciously accepted. These tips alone are invaluable when traveling abroad I my opinion, because as a foreigner you try to navigate thru the country trying to balance being respect but not rude and not being taken advantage of. I appreciated the stress free tour/driving around the country as it would be very difficult for a tourist to explore the country with very little signs and challenging road/driving conditions. The guided tour was really a wonderful experience in observing the culture of this country. I plan to will book Vision Tours again!
