Overview

Riyadh is a vibrant metropolis that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity. Riyadh offers a plethora of attractions and experiences for tourists. From historical landmarks and cultural sites to modern entertainment, Riyadh has something for everyone.

One of the historical sites in Riyadh is Masmak Fortress. This 19th-century fort played a pivotal role in the history of Saudi. It was here that King Abdulaziz captured Riyadh in 1902. The fortress houses a museum that showcases artifacts, photographs, and exhibits related to the history of the Kingdom.

The National Museum of Saudi Arabia is another must-visit cultural attraction. Located in the King Abdulaziz Historical Center, the museum offers a comprehensive overview of the Kingdom’s history, culture, and heritage. The museum covers various aspects of Saudi history, from prehistoric times to the modern era.

Diriyah, the ancestral home of the Saudi royal family, is a UNESCO World Heritage site located on the outskirts of Riyadh.
