Among its many stories, one stands out—Camilo Castelo Branco, a renowned Portuguese writer, was imprisoned here for adultery. The square in front of the building bears the name of his famous novel Love of Perdition, a poignant connection to the building’s history.
Torre dos Clerigos (Pass by)
