The Iron Gate, or Djerdapska Klisura, is the longest gorge in Europe, spanning approximately 100 kilometers (62 miles) along the Danube River. It begins near the Golubac Fortress in Serbia and extends to Orșova, Romania. This is where the Iron Gate gorge begins.
