What you can expect

Experience the outdoor attractions of Western Australia on a day trip that takes you from the koalas of Yanchep to the sandy dunes of beachfront Lancelin. Dip your toes into the Moore River at Guilderton, have lunch in the sun, and then discover the otherworldly landscapes of the Pinnacles.

Meet your guide at the train station in Perth and set out, kicking off your adventure with a stroll along the Koala Boardwalk in Yanchep National Park. This aptly named walkway is the perfect place to catch glimpses of koalas perched in gum trees, as well as spot grey kangaroos hopping across the lawns. Visit the coastal town of Guilderton, a charming village in the picturesque Moore River area, where you have some free time to swim or wander along the waterfront.

Head toward Lancelin to dive right into the adrenaline-pumping thrills of sandboarding. Clamber up to the top of the dunes, jump on a board, and then surf your way down to the bottom of the powdery slope before running back up to do it again. Enter Nambung National Park and the Pinnacles Interpretive Centre, where you can learn about the breathtaking landscape and its unusual features before a scenic drive by the spires and towers of the limestone formations themselves. Sandwiches and a cold drink are provded for Lunch. Drop off at your CBD hotel can be arranged with the driver.
