What you can expect

Start your river rafting adventure at a riverfront office in Gardiner where your guides will get you outfitted with all the equipment needed, including wetsuits, booties, and splash tops. Use the cubbies and bins to store your dry clothes and valuables in the office.

Take a short shuttle ride across town for a safety briefing before hitting the water. Begin your rafting experience at the northern border of Yellowstone National Park, right where the Gardiner River converges with the mighty Yellowstone River.

Each raft will have a guide to help you ride the waves at Man-Eater Hole, Boonie’s Revenge, and Sleeping Giant. Take in the breathtaking view of Devil’s Slide. Float through some flat water stretches that are great for swimming and relaxing.

Get picked up at the end of the trip for a 15-minute drive back to the office and get your dry clothes. See the photos taken by photographers throughout the trip and browse through apparel, snacks, and souvenirs available for purchase.
