What you can expect

Form a deep and meaningful connection to the town of Gettysburg and its wartime past on a ghost hunt at the Welty House. Immerse yourself in American history, standing toe-to-toe with people who lived nearly 200 years ago.

Meet your guide at the Brickhouse Inn Bed & Breakfast where you’ll learn the ins and outs of using ghost-hunting gear including EMF detectors, dowsing rods, REM pods, spirit boxes, and more.

From there, venture into the dark rooms of this historic house — from the basement up to the attic. Discover historical theories suggesting that the bullet that killed Jennie Wade came from the Welty attic, and that civilians sought refuge in the basement during the three-day battle.

Look out for any strange noises, apparitions, and ghostly manifestations. Feel the rush of adrenaline surge as you sweep your flashlight over shadows and doorways, each sound or movement potentially revealing a ghost.
