Embark on the perfect day exploring one of Sardinia’s most spectacular stretches of coastline: the Gulf of Orosei. This full-day boat tour offers a mix of breathtaking landscapes, hidden beaches, unforgettable swims, and authentic local flavors.
We begin our adventure from the charming port of Santa Maria Navarrese, heading straight to Cala Biriala. We arrive early, when the cove is still quiet and untouched – the ideal time for a peaceful swim in complete relax.
After this first stop, we continue with a swim in open sea, in one of the skipper’s favorite spots based on the day’s sea and weather conditions – a true hidden gem with pristine waters and magical light.
Next, we reach the scenic and spacious Cala Sisine, where you’ll have about 1.5 hours to swim, relax, or enjoy a walk inland. The beach is framed by a wild valley and dramatic cliffs.
Our journey continues with the optional visit to the Grotta del Fico, one of the most fascinating sea caves in the area. Guided tours last around 50 minutes and tickets can be purchased at the entrance (€10 for adults, €5 for children). Inside, you’ll explore ancient tunnels carved by water and learn about the local geology and wildlife.
In the early afternoon, we stop at the stunning Cala Mariolu, famous for its white pebbles and crystal-clear waters. You’ll have around 1.5 hours to swim, snorkel, or simply unwind on the beach.
Before returning, we’ll make a final swim stop in front of the legendary Cala Goloritzé. This is your chance to admire its iconic limestone pinnacle from the sea and dive into turquoise waters that seem straight out of a dream.
As we head back in the late afternoon, we’ll slow down for a scenic coastal cruise, passing by:
• the majestic Pedra Longa spire
• the Baus waterfalls, plunging from the cliffs
• the Cave of the Pigeons (Grotta dei Colombi)
• the wild inlets of Portu Cuau and Portu Pedrosu
• and finally the headland of Capo Monte Santo
Total duration: approx. 8.5 hours – a well-balanced day of discovery, relaxation, and unforgettable views.
