What you can expect
Enjoy your trip up north in nice touring van with a small group size of usually no more than 10 guests. Travel to Northern Arizona for a narrated tour of the Grand Canyon with some of the most experienced guides in the Southwest. Our smaller group size will allow for more personalized time with your knowledgable guide. Once arriving at the Grand Canyon, you may begin your day with a stroll along a nature trail on the South Rim, or perhaps explore the historic buildings Grand Canyon Village.
Ride through the scenic red rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. Continue through the Ponderosa Pines of Flagstaff and past the dormant volcanoes of the San Francisco Peaks on your way to the South Entrance of the Grand Canyon. Take time to enjoy the first gorgeous view of the Grand Canyon immediately upon arrival, then spend some time visiting historic buildings and museums like the Hopi House, the rustic El Tovar Lodge, the Grand Canyon Railway Station, and Kolb Studio. Time will be given to enjoy lunch on your own at Grand Canyon Village, lunch is not included.
Take in beautiful views at different points along the South Rim of the canyon, seeing some of the widest and deepest sections of the Grand Canyon and the mighty Colorado River.
On your return journey, admire the western edge of the Painted Desert and the Little Colorado River Gorge. Stop at the Navajo Reservation, where you can shop for authentic Native American souvenirs at the Cameron Trading Post.
