What you can expect
Leave the crowds and casinos behind and soar above the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Grand Canyon’s West Rim on this thrilling aerial tour. Scope out Vegas landmarks along the way, enjoy commentary from your guide, and take advantage of convenient transportation from your hotel.
Start your day with a ride that takes you from your Vegas hotel to the Henderson Executive Airport south of town, where your helicopter awaits. Once you lift off, look through the super-sized windows as the desert landscape moves quickly below you. Your pilot points out Fortification Hill, an extinct volcano, and Lake Mead, the largest man-made lake in the United States. See the Hoover Dam holding back billions of gallons of the Colorado River to help produce electrical power for the entire region.
As you fly over the Grand Canyon, observe multi-colored walls laced with crimson, orange, and black. Descend 3,500 feet (1,066 m) into heart of the canyon and land on a convenient outcrop 300 feet (91 m) above the rushing Colorado River. From your rocky overlook, enjoy a snack and a cool beverage, and top off your experience with a champagne toast before heading back through the beautiful Black Canyon on your return flight to Las Vegas.
