What you can expect

Let's head for the hills! Cruise into the wide-open beauty of Texas Hill Country and sink your teeth into scrumptious barbecue and sample local wines on this convenient tour out of Austin. Team up with a friendly driver to grab barbecue lunch at the Salt Lick first and then pop into the area's best wineries!

Meet up with your guide at the Austin Visitor Center in downtown Austin, where you can settle into your seat and enjoy the scenic drive out of town. Wind past undulating hills and patchwork farms that lead you into Texas Hill Country. We first head to Salt Lick, known for turning out delicious plates of classic Texas barbecue. From hearty piles of brisket to smoky links of sausage, devour your way through the Lone Star state's finest.

After your belly is full, we make our way to two beautiful wineries. Take in the views, check out the facility if you wish and of course, visit their tasting rooms to try award-winning Texas wines. After these three stops, you'll catch a ride back to Austin and part ways with your guide.
