Description

Explore the sights of Macau with a tour that takes you to the most spectacular destinations in the city. Visit grand buildings from the Portuguese colonial era, a historic Taoist temple, and towering landmarks that illustrate the region's modern-day success.

After a pickup from your hotel, get started with a walk through the Ruins of St. Paul the 17th-century façade of a Portuguese church and religious college that was destroyed by fire in 1835. Admire the unique design of St. Dominic's Church, see the colonial seat of government at the Leal Senado Building, and get a look at the General Post Office building from Senado Square.

In the afternoon, drive to the tip of the Macau Peninsula for a visit to the historic A-Ma Temple, built in 1488 with Taoist prayer halls, arches, and pavilions. You can also stop at the sky-high Macau Tower, which rises to a height of 1,109 feet (388 m) above the city, before you head to Fisherman's Wharf for a delectable local lunch and conclude your tour at the Venetian Resort Hotel.

Tour was a bit disorganized and got off to a late start. The tour guide tried to be friendly though and adapt the tour to everyone's personal interests.

Annie was a great guide and the driver was excellent. Lunch was good. Very informative and some great historical sites.

This was a wonderful tour. We were picked up on time by Johnny who was a great guide. He drove us around site after site in a lovely air conditioned van (just the two of us so it was like a private tour). After the explanation he gave us an amount of free time at each site and was flexible if we needed longer. He is originally from Macau so could tell us about the history as we as life today. The meal included lunch but it wasn’t so enjoyable - to be fair it included salad, soup, chicken and rice (spicy or non spicy) and a small jelly for afterwards. All in all this was a very good tour for the price paid and it was a pleasure to meet Johnny and I thoroughly recommend using this company. They were professional in all their correspondence and everything worked out really great.
