What you can expect

Day 1 begins with a drive to Malaga Pass, then a thrilling 3-hour downhill mountain biking to Humanmarca. Safety is ensured with a trailing minivan. After lunch in Santa Maria, optional river rafting on the Urubamba River is available. After this activity, we continue our journey by car for 20 minutes, and a hike of 1 hour and 15 minutes to La Choza Homestay, which is located near Santa Maria, to spend the night.

Day 2 starts with a trek from Santa Rosa to Santa Teresa, ascending hills and exploring rich biodiversity. A guide offers insights into Inca history along ancient trails, with stops for fruit and scenic views. Lunch at Quellomayo precedes relaxation at Cocalmayo Hot Springs.

Day 3 features optional zip-lining and a hike through Aobamba Valley to Aguas Calientes, with lunch at HidroElectrica and stunning views en route. Evening in Aguas Calientes includes a hotel stay and a briefing for the next day.

Day 4's early start leads to Machu Picchu. Options include hiking 1500 Inca steps or a bus ride. After a 2-hour tour of Machu Picchu's key sites, optional hikes to Huayna Picchu or Sun Gate are available. The day concludes with a train to Ollantaytambo and a transfer to Cusco, arriving by 9:30 PM.
