Your morning begins with a scenic drive north to the stunning Algarve Mountains, where you’ll travel off-road through the countryside while your guide shares insights on the flora, fauna, and the rich history and culture of the area.

Next, visit one of the region’s most traditional villages (Alte or Monchique, depending on your departure point). Admire the whitewashed houses with latticework, handcrafted chimneys, and narrow cobbled streets nestled in the foothills of Serra do Caldeirão.

Continue to Zebro, renowned for some of Portugal's finest cork harvesting. Visit a cork oak tree, learn about its evolution, and discover the importance of cork to southern Portugal. Stop for lunch in a typical village.

Next, visit a distillery farm and taste the traditional fruity flavors of Medronho, the famous Portuguese “fire water.” In the Mountains, savor the delicious honey from a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) product.
