Overview

This tour is a 101 Kabuki tour for all people who are interested in Kabuki. Kabuki is one of Japan's most fascinating, traditional performing arts. Your guide, Kazui, is born and raised in Tokyo and has loved Kabuki since the age of 5. After “About Kabuki” talk and visual presentation, given while you enjoy Japanese tea and sweets or coffee.

This tour is people who don't watch the Kabuki show basically. If you are interested in Kabuki show tickets, please book one of tours and let us know in advance. We would like to inform you about the tour with ticket handling service. The talks are tailored for each show in the tour with ticket handling service. Highlights of the performances and an overview of Kabuki history, performance style, actors etc. in the talk will enhance your experience. English plot-summary handouts are also provided. English subtitle devices are not currently available.

Kabuki is performed for 25 days a month. Two shows a day, 11am show and 4pm show normally.

Kazui was a delight!-such an insightful tour from a very passionate and remarkably informed lover of Kabuki Theatre. I cannot recommend her tour highly enough!-I went on to watch a night of Kabuki after her brilliant tour and the knowledge she shared with me truly heightened the experience!
