The Kannan Devan Tea Museum, officially the KDHP Tea Museum, is located in Munnar, Kerala, and offers a journey through the history of tea cultivation in the region. It features a collection of antique machinery, photographs of early planters and workers, and other artifacts that tell the story of how Munnar transformed into a tea-growing town. Visitors can see old equipment like a 1905 Rotorvane tea roller and a Pelton Wheel turbine, and the museum also provides demonstrations of traditional tea-processing steps.

Valara Waterfalls is a scenic cascade in Kerala, India, known for its lush green surroundings and dramatic descent from a height of about 200 feet. Visible from the Kochi-Munnar highway, it is a popular stopping point for travelers to admire the view and break up their journey. While the base is difficult to access, the falls are surrounded by dense forest, rare flora and fauna, and nearby trekking trails that are popular during the monsoon season.

Mattupetty Dam is a gravity dam in Kerala's Idukki district, known for its beautiful reservoir, Mattupetty Lake, and the surrounding hills, tea gardens, and shola forests. It was built for power generation and water conservation and is a popular tourist destination offering activities like speed and paddle boating on the lake, trekking, and horse riding.

While most of Munnar is photogenic, the Photo Point is doubly so. Only 3 km away from the main marketplace of this hill station, this site is a photographer’s favourite. Surrounded by the Tata Tea gardens of the Kannan Devan Hills and a string of silver oak trees, this point is right by the main highway.
