We value the friendly conversations with our Japanese guides and among guests, which is why we keep our groups small and offer complimentary sake — though drinking is completely optional.
Join our night-time walking tour through Kyoto’s historic Gion area with a knowledgeable Japanese guide. You’ll learn about Kyoto’s geisha culture, Shinto beliefs, and Buddhism while hearing local stories and personal recommendations that enrich your stay.
Stroll through some of Kyoto’s most photogenic spots, including the lantern-lit streets of Gion, the iconic Yasaka Pagoda, and the serene grounds of Yasaka Shrine. At night, the crowds fade, allowing you to enjoy the city’s atmosphere in a calm and intimate setting.
To make the evening even more enjoyable, we offer Kin-Kame, a celebrated sake from Shiga Prefecture crafted by the historic Okamura Honke brewery (est. 1839). Known for its fruity aroma and smooth, clean finish, Kin-Kame is made with local rice and pure water.
Sake is provided as a complimentary option — you’re warmly welcomed even if you choose not to drink.
